Bikes in movies: MAD MAX (1)
A true Classic: Mad Max (the first one of course!)

I hear and read a lot of stories about George Miller making a Mad Max 4 this year... No idea if it's true or not.
Anyway, I loved the 1st one, quite enjoyed the 2nd one, but I didn't like so much the third one, so...

Re: Bikes in movies: MAD MAX (1)
One of the most memorial moments in the movie. Goose really rides fast in this part. What a bike !
One of the things a love about the movie is how good and evil stand directly against each other, and how a man can snap and go bezerk for it. Second movie is a vey nice follow up, the third movie i believe was not that of a succes.
Just do it already Miller !!
If theres going to be a fourth one, whos going to play the head role ? I dont think Mel Gibson is up for it , but you never know. Im kinda sceptic towards it because Gibson IS mad max , its going to be a tuff job to make a 4th convincing movie...

I like Mad Max 2 better than the 1st. It shows more of the oilcrazed society we're about to enter according to the makers. It's also a fun fact to know the car used in the 2nd film is the same vehicle as in the 1st film. The Australian made Ford GT2000 Interceptor.

I liked also the 2nd part. It was a great movie.
But I preferred the first one, because in the second part, the bikes and all vehicles were getting a bit too crazy for me
, a bit too much of science-fiction... Mad Max 1 was - in some way - more realistic, which made it (for me, at least) more powerful.
Also, I must confess that I'm a great kawasaki Z fan, so for me Mad Max 1 was one and half hour of pure Z-pleasure!!!

By the way, I found (one of) the original trailer(s) for Mad Max 1:

Damn great 650zed for putting the trailers here, i never saw them actually , just watching the first trailer gives me the chills
, i might see the movie yet again for the 5th time or so...
I'm very curious about the 4th one, hope they do not cancel it and may it be a worthy follow up....
