How to download videos from youtube

For those who don’t know it yet, you can download all videos from youtube and other sites like this, in order to keep and watch them from your computer. It’s very easy and perfectly legal.

1 : Download Mozilla Firefox, if you don’t have it yet:
http://www.mozilla.com

2 : Download the “DownloadHelper” (it's an add-on) from Mozilla:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

That’s it!

Every time you will watch a video clip on youtube or elsewhere, after a couple of seconds you will see the DownloadHelper logo moving, on the right side of the URL: click on it to open it, and choose the clip you want to download.

This video clip will be in a special format: to read it, use VLC Media Player, a very light, simple, reliable and easy to install (free) video player that reads nearly everything. You can download it from anywhere - just look for "VLC media player" in Google.

With hte new mediaplayer I can also see and hear what I'm filmed with my photocamera.
Only in step 2: open it an choose you're ......well I can open it but don't see the clip

I'm not into computers but mayby you can tell me what to do than

Well, after a couple of seconds, or maybe a minute, depending on how fast your Internet connection is, you will see a short list of what is ready to download, amoung others the name of the videoclip of youtube you are watching at that moment. If you see nothing in the list, it probably means that you must wait a bit longer, maybe until the end of the clip, because of the speed of the connection... I suppose
