SR 500 and what`s possible

Post  andreas on Sat 21 Mar - 6:26

I will start this topic, cause the SR500/ 400 is classic, cheap and you can work on it - until the doctor must come. So i open my gallerie - until my one is ready to ride on a sunny day to the (ice) cafe. I post a lot in the next time.Andreas
I start with this "raw" japanese work.
and give one in "bling bling" version extra

Arghh some hot hot stuff !!! I can only dream about bikes like these. Indeed those few arent exactly Café's , more bobber/brat.

Hi Toecutter - don`t dream about these Yamaha`s - be sure - this bike is one of the cheapest possibilities to ride a c-racer.
And for sunday you get one extra ( for you in DARK "colorante")
On this bike you see a lot of special parts - for example the rear hub ( looks like it is Grimeca) - super nice !! To ride an SR500 is so easy - my one brings only 147 Kg on the street. So it runs like a kiddybike! Andreas

Hi Toecutter, you are right - i like the old CB`s , but to handle - for example on the mountainstreets arround "lago di Garda" the feeling comes close to a containership! At the moment i`m in trouble with the decision "wich bike do i ride" on the meeting in Oktober? SR or Ducati? So you can ride SR and feel what i meen. Maybe i take them on the trailer and the choise is easy. So one more for you!

Nice week - weekend will come!! Andreas
