No didn,t.
The headlight can store a lot of electric cable and the other cables didn't need to (yet)

My bars hang too far down...I could wipe my nose on my gauges. (sorry for the poor picture quality, battery going dead).

Zoals XZ vandaag de dag erbij staat.
Ik denk niet dat ik er nog veel aan verander, buiten polijsten etc.
Het is nu een caferacer voor dagelijks gebruik.

Now thats nice, only thing that could have been nicer is the positioning of the cooling liquid pump. But thats just me being picky Neutral What year was this bike produced anyway? awesome enigineering for an oldtimer(if it even is an oldtimer) Cool

It was made from '82 'till '85.
So it was a machine that was very modern for the time
It's even now days a rare bike to look at
Frame is very unusual
Engine is hanging at the frame in a way.....
Rear suspension is swingarm with monocross
Engine is watercooled v2 4 valves DOHC
etcetc.

this bike could use a stronger engine with , maybe, a chain/sprocket use instead of this axle Wink

Hello and good day, wow i like youre bike alot! i just picked up an 83 vision myself the other day, exact same bike as yours, with only 6500 original kms on it, i was planning on going for a cafe racer look like what you did, i was wondering, did you have to modify the seat much?, and where you had gotten that back plastic piece that goes over the tail lights, also, how comfortable are the bars when you put them upside down like that?i really like what you did with it, any info you have would be greatly appreciated! this is my first bike and im totally new at it, thanks!

Hello Nik

The handlebars was just right
Be sure you got the short ones ofcourse
About the seat
Cut a little bit of the back, but maybe that's not neccesarry(try it first)
Than about the plastic tail on the back
It's from a XS 750
So you don't have to do much to let it look this way
And if you got the same painting black and gold that's the most beautiful colour for an caferacer
mine oppinion

Good luck
