Hi Miob, is the front wheel 21" diameter or like Honde 23"? I think your "upload" on the front is to much.
Before you ride into the corner - i hope - you brake. So the fork goes down and with the 8cm or more deeper fixed forktubes with your added weight you get the steering problems. Short after that moment, you open the brake , push the gas. The bike comes up and the steering feeling is better, cause there is lower pressure on all parts. I will try first to push the fork tubes back. On Endurobike, you will sit more on the rearend than on the front. So you go complet in another direction - and - so i mean - that will be the problem.

Sounds plausible! I did indeed notice that the cornering improves massively when I'm accelerating trough it. It's a 21 inch wheel by the way.

danke!

Update:

I've had a LOT of trouble with the engine. Enough to lose the fun in building this bike. But someone offered me a GN400 engine and it's now running again.

The changes:
- New (400) engine)
- clip ons (I loved the handlebars, but I bend them when one of the handgrips let go during kickstarting)
- heat wrap on the exhaust.

Also made a headlightfairing out of a salad bowl:

loosely fitted on the bike:
