I kept my cilinderhead standard and painted only the cilinderblock black.

Well I had some trouble with the electric in the headlight, so it was easier for me to fix the problem without the fairing.
The bikes beautifuler with the fairing.
That's mine opinion.
Here a picture just made
Don't worry

nice to see that you diceded to keep Miss Beauty. I was wondering why on earth you would sell a bike like this. Now I even see that the engine has the newest 750cc conversion from Heiden Tuning
This weekend , on the british swap meet in Wormer, I found an NOS 750cc Big Bore kit for the XS1-2-TX. That's gonna go into my next project

Everybody likes this seat, even a famous Yamaha XS 650 shopowner. Somebody I knew very well made it from aluminium by hand, and than somebody else did the finishing touch with skai leather.
Ok, it looks like it's gonna stay a big secret
Well, after all, the seat is magic and I understand you.

It's no secret I told you the way it is.
I'm a person who wants to share and not only to show off
Would you that I asked if those persons would like to make a seat for your bike, why didn't you ask!
If you are really intrested, think for yourself that hand made isn't cheap of course.
And I don't want to ask just for fun or just to know the price(not personal)

Let me know

Well, I'm sure that you are a person who wants to share, and that's a very good thing: especially in our forum!
I'm just curious, because this kind of beautiful realisation attracts curiosity, of course.
And I'm sure that you can take a joke.

The thing is I want to make the seat myself, yet I don't know exactly how and out of which material I will make it. I'm hesitating between polyester and metal. And at the same time, I keep seeing cool seats, on Internet mostly, a bit like yours, and also in the style of the old Honda CB sport seats. Then I would not make it myself, but just buy it if I can.
Also, my question was more about the leather/skai that covers your seat, cos it's really well done. But as, like I said, I don't have my seat ready yet, I cannot ask any precise info. And of course, it's not my point to get you bothering your friends for some information, as I have nothing ready yet. But if I finally decide to make a seat myself and I need some (more precise) help, I'll surely get in touch with you for some info about the covering!
Cheers

Hey there

If you want to make the seat yourself.... Just do it. I did it too! If you do not like the result you can always throw it away.
