SR500 classic (cafe)racer
Hi there,
Thought i show you all some pictures of my latest project. I started on ths bike early this year since we (some friens and i) planned to go racing on the bikers classics at Spa Franchorchamps next year (2010). I´ve started from scratch with a worn out engine and searched at every autojumble i visited for the right parts. The engine now is nearly ready. It´s bored and stroked (570cc), flowed, larger intake valve, High comp piston, carrilo con rod the whole funpackage. I´ve got an 40mm mikuni flatside lying here and my goal is to get (fingers crossed) 45/50 HP on the backwheel. This is not an thing i´ve done before but searching the internet tells me that this must be within reach with te parts on the bike. Furthermore the whole thing is very straightforward. Standard frame, completely shaved from al the lugs and other unnecessairy thingies, front fork is from an RD350 (air supported), rear wheel is standard, front is from a honda CB77. Shocks are HAGON, fairing AVON. The fuel tank that you see on the pictures will not be used, i´v e orderd a lyta alu tank...think a bike in this style will benefit from it....anyway, long story so check the pictures if you like, before this reading gets too boring for ya all outhere

I took the liberty to edit your last post, so the image appears.
Don't worry, it's a question of time: you will get used to it!
