It's been a while since your last update. I'm wondering what the bike looks like now?

and?!? Any progress on this bike?

I found a simplified wiring diagram for a GN400 (I'm using a GN400 engine now too). Maybe it's usefull for you too?

(you'll have to put a switch in the rearlight circuit, or it'll drain your battery)

i'ts perfect, just what i needed.
bud i guess i'll better take the plus from the headlight for the rearlight, than they work on the same switch.

thanks rien

That's what I did on my Kawa too... The "+" cable to the taillight burnt, because of a stupid short-circuit on the stoplight. As it was a complete mess to locate where it was broken, I simply used that trick too: I plugged a long cable on the headlight and I led it back to the taillight. As you say, it's the same switch anyway...

First: I don't know a lot about electrics, but... :)

The original wiring loom has a resistor for when the lights are off, so I THINK every circuit needs a certain resistance. So If you do put the front light on the same wire as your rear light, I think you will have to put a resistor on the pink circuit.

And your battery will get less charge, like that matters.... :)

Anyway: how's the project going? Any photo's?

Nice clean build up

I have two Q`s, what size are the wheels(17-18"), and from what bike is the front fork ?

Edit: What diameter is the fork legs, 34mm ?

the wheels are 17 and 18, this year we're going to spoke the wheels in nice alu rims 2x18"
the front fork legs are from a suzuki gs450 and are 35mm diameter.
