XS 650 Brit style CAFE

Post  pasta-moto on Wed 14 Jul - 22:17

Hi. Finaly I find the time to add some bigers pictures of my XS 650. For a start I want to tell one thing. I'm not finish my Yamaha, because this painted it's only for now. Maby at winter I make new painted, and change some details. I completed my XS 3 years, because I'm started by buying engine only with carburatories. Some parts of my xs (frame, tail hub, tail fender) I buy in Nederlands from my friend from "YAMAHA 650 TWIN KLUB NEDERLAND" and the rest parts of my bike I take from many others motorcycles ( XJ 750 SECA, SR 500,SR 125, XTZ 750, Pannonia, Triumph, AWO Simson, and others Polisch motorcycles) I want to make a classic Britisch Style motorcycle, ando for now it looks like this.

I saw your bike, and I must admit that it looks very good. I want to paint my Yamaha similar as your GS, except that the frame will be black. I once had the GS 550 from 1977, but for me he had not enough horsepower, but I think 750 is OK!

Hi.
Exhaust was made in Poland to order for the XS 650. Unfortunately there is no interference tube, which has a weaker motor torque at low revs. This is not a big problem, but I will fix it.

Little update

Post  pasta-moto on Fri 15 Jul - 23:27

Ther is long time when I was here, and its time for a little update.
at erly spring I bought a new classic dunlop tires and adjustable M-style handle bar

After that I made a new upholstery of my seat, and polished front legs

Now I'm working on new muflers, I made it from modifie car stream exhaust and it's almoast done, I just nead to ad balance pipe betwene them. For good running I bought a new XSPerformance pod filters with bigger (140) main jets, new ignition coil, BERU HV lead, NGH spark plug caps and iridium spark plug.

I'm still looking for a original chrome fenders, but in Poland it's hard to find it :/
