Fine work , but dont be offended by this question, what camera or cellphone are you using? Im not an expert myself but there is alot of 'distortion' or some kind of blur?

Hi its taken on my old phone only 2magapixels and the lens is probably a bit scratched, I prefer to spent my money on the bike :)

Methanol injection tank made and installed where the battery box was The bike is very nearly finished now, all I have to do now is get the camshaft reground get an oil cooler and lines, and find a small 12v 3ah battery to fit in the tail piece then its finished :).....

You are right, this is going to be a quick bike (for a single) I have difficulty's lifting the box of steel parts that I have removed I think the bike weighs around 130kg now

just finishing off the last few little jobs, I had to relocate the clutch cable bracket, as the original mounting was on the starter motor

Finally found a suitable battery to fit under the tail piece. Motobatt mbtx4u, its a fiber / gel battery and can be used in any orientation except upside down

I like your mechanical work a lot, but I think the bike would look better with some "happier" colours! Wink

22 degree inlet tract

Hi I made the inlet, I used the standard inlet and added a curved 40mm tube just to bring the carb closer to the right hand side

I had a great time riding my cafe racer but it started to look a bit tired, so I have give it a rebuild and a respray, its not quite finished but will be back on the road for May 1st :)

It now has a tank from a cx500 with a Monza filler cap, big fins welded onto the head, big bore down pipes and an Avon fairing
