Hi. I saw that kind of bike on some TR! forum. Why you cut a piece of frame under the engin?

Hi I had to cut the lower frame rails in order to fit the engine as it was too tall, and would have been difficult to work on. I had some aluminum plates made that the engine hung from, and the whole assembly was very strong

This is the foto of I found. Norton futherbed frame with TR1 engine. The bike looks really greate. Are You finsh your project? My friend has a Yamaha TR1, and always have some problem with this bike. What is Your opinion obout it?

And what kinde of tail wheel you had in this bika? is ita a XS 650? Looks similar

Great picture of that bike :) I never fully compleated the project probably 80% but lost my job and had to sell it. I think the wheels were from an xs650 but I seem to remember they had custom rims (I think they were wider than standard)
