Another German

Post  Ranger on Sat 23 Oct - 14:00

Hi there,
hello from the state of "Palatina" (Pfalz). Just found this site, great forum, signed up right away.
I`m Wolfgang, now 52 Summers old, love my classic bikes (Honda CB 750 Four K2, Kawasaki Z900/Z1000), plus an extra CB750 Rat, which I would like to turn into a nice cafe, thats what I always wanted to own. Just never found the right one, had a hard time to even find the first good websites. Or, once I saw one, I thought about it too much and a nice one was sold bevor I even saw it in reality. Guess now I am slowly complete and could get started. Looking forward to find some good ideas, parts, pictures and else.
What do you guys think about this "carp" in the US?

Hello to everybody! And always: Rubber Side Down !

Welcome!

CB750 K2, good choice Wink

What I think about Carpy? I think he's technically very skilled, but.... I don't like the bikes he builds, wayyyyyyy to overdone. To many stickers/colors/shiny parts.

Hi Wolfgang! Welcome to the forum. If you have any photos of your "rat in progress" you can post 'm in the Show us your project! section. Tips and tricks will come, there are many Honda and Kawa riders on the forum...

Sleep ... hum...?
Did I hear someone say the magic words...?
"Kawasaki Z900/Z1000"...?
Show us some pics!

As MIOB says, Carpy sometimes does a bit too much "chrome and details", but still, his bikes are killers!
I'm a fan.

Allright, a new try:

The black one:
the Z900, from 1976, completely modified, Suzuki GSX750 Swingarm, Motor Kawasaki GPZ1100 (Power!), Mikuni Flatslide Carbs, Front Kawasaki ZRX1100, and so forth ... EVERY screw and little part has been redone to best possible perfection. Including engine and all. And up for sale soon too! Need the space for new project.

The green one:
the Z1000 A1, from 1977, moderate changes, Zephyr1100 Front, Kruger+Junginger Swingarm, Kerker 4in1 Exaust ...

The silver one:
My idea of a cafe ! Honda CB750K2 . Hopefully sometime soon !

More pics later. Hope you like it ?
