XS650 Classic English Café Racer project

Post  Crazy Cavan on Thu 4 Nov - 19:30

What do you do when you have only one-seater caffs? That's right, you build a dual seater caff racer.

Too bad my budget won't allow me to buy an original british café racer so together with my dad we're gonna abuse an yamaha xs650.

Yeah, just got myself some nice pair of Goldie silencers and I'm bending Stainless steel pipe into Swept backs.
Got all the brackets weld on so next week put the frame into the oven.
Keep you informed.

I still have a nice working 840cc engine to put in, but maybe I'm gonna put it's nice running 653 in.
these rims are not for this bike; I'm putting in a T500 front-drumbrake and original rear drum .
Also GT500 front fork with external springs to give it a real classic look
