Done it the true spirit of 1960s Cafe Racers with "Homebuilt" parts. Good luck with the GS850.

Hi, thank you. Well, the engine is from a Honda XLV750R, wich has a cardan. I was very luckey that it (almost) fitted in the GS850 frame. Look at the angle of the cilinder heads and the angle of the frame above it. I only had to cut a piece out of the bottom tubes of the frame, I welded some chr.molybd. bars in there, stapled. I will add a newer photo of it. Glad you like them. Greetings, Jan.

Thanks, your very kind. Well I had some help, for the welds that had to look good, a college helped. (Almost) no one can do everything him-or her self. I'm allways busy with improving the bike, so it seems it is never finished. It is very cold now over here in Holland, probably where you live too. And my garage is hard to get warm, can't wait for warmer days. When I make progress I will post or exchange a photo. If you want to see more details, look in photobucket search users: janh1. Thanks, Jan.
