1976 cb 750 (Joske)

Post  claustro on Thu 3 Mar - 1:30

Following one of my projects. Transforming a friends 1976 cb 750 into a cafe racer. His question: Can you make him "Racy", "unique", and transform him in good alround condition. Closed his question with: With a low budget!

So i told him "OK" :-?

After checking the basic mechanics i started to transform the frame.

I cut off a few pieces at the rear end, Weld on some other pieces so a cafe style seat would fit.

Put on some clip-ons, restyled the dashboard (only RPM. Who the fuck needs a speedo ;-), and found a nice mirror.

ive put a little time in working with polyester and plastics so after some study time i was able to make my own seats.
Worked out pretty well if you ask me ;-)

Fitting the seat.
