Lovely ! , Its something i just love , Barn Finds...its better than any christmas present. That sawmill operator did good on checking the bike once in a while.

Just been 1/2 hour busy on the exhaust and it's a big difference
Not like new but original and 36 years old

Cool peet! Keep up the good work, a bike like this is almost like unwrapping gifts at Christmas. Finding a lot of nice parts under neat the dust, trash etc.. cheers

Just put new inlet rubbers ON
Engine ran poorly
Much better now
Motor is quicker than I thought
Just did 80 mph and it was no problem at all
and that for a 400cc from 75

ok think I keep it red because it look better on a small motorcycle
If you use dark colours it seems even smaller

This picture I took just 10 minutes ago
Did the rear wheel, carbs and engine

Start lookin'in the right way (well what I like)

looking for a front drum brake

Somebody??????

Ok started this morning to get the 35mm front forks into the 33mm of the z400.
First I had to strip the CBX front
Than I had to strip the Zed
Make it fit to 35mm and put it back together( in my way of saying it) BLUEPRINT
This is the result cheers

Air filters for Z400

Post  Big Sax on Tue 4 Nov - 23:54

Shall make some pictures during the day

Hi Peter,

The bike looks great and I'm trying to create something similar with a 1977 Z400. Could you tell me which air filters are on there and what you did with the pipe that comes out of the top of the engine block (The crankcase ventilation system, I beleive).

Cheers
