I like this project, it shows a lot of creativity... In stead of buying some standard bolt-on parts, you make your own
I respect that!
So keep going and keep us posted!

cheers Rocker

Thanks here's a pic of it in action. It started life as a bone stock clean 1985 Toyota 4runner.

So I got a little bit of work done on the bike lately
dropped the tank and a few parts off at the sand blasting shop to get cleaned up

Decided to try something else with the brakes throttle and controls and went with a 2007 Ninja EX650 front and rear brake master cylinders
also just ordered up a dirt bike throttle and cable for a 2000 Yamaha Banshee quad.

Here's some Pictures of the rear master cyl and the template to mount it up

So the 2007 Ninja 650 brake master cylinder hooked up to the RD front brake line perfectly now just waiting on the shorty racing levers and gotta order up some steel braided lines to clean it up.

My Plasma cutter and Tig welder took a crap on me today so looks like most of my posts will slow down until I can get some money together to get new ones....

Ok so i managed to get some stuff done on the bike that didn't require welding like some fork boot/gaiters, and the new throttle and braided brake lines came in this morning. I don't think the throttle was exactly what I was looking for though.

Thanks Man.

The fire storm is a 99 and originally came out of Norway I believe the original owner brought it over here then sold it. Its kind of a pain for insurance reasons out here being considered a gray model bike and having a shorter vin number.
You will love the bike I know this is my second VTR1000F and I love the feel of the v-twin. if you look up superhawkforum.com there is a bunch of info and superhawk fans.
