kl250 bratstyle, bobber, chopper, racer???

hi guys,
this is my latest project, i'm going to build a nice bike for my wife based on a kl250 off-road '1979, not the easyest bike to chop,
bud thats the exciting part of it,
my wife likes bradstyle so thats the way i'm going.
experimenting whit handlebars and rear fenders, road tires or off-road tires, color, lights etc. let me know what your opinions are!!

A fun project i believe, the handebar looks very good on it.

I like this style. You have nice shape of gas tank. It's original from KL250?

Nice basic lines already, this project has perspectives, I think.
You should mount these fat oldskool tires on it, they give the bike that extra solid look.

frame welding

did some welding on the frame today, my wife likes a low seat, and this is my solution.

duno is your wife a fan of a semi ape hanger , and with a lower seat , just thinking outloud my friend.

she just likes the lowered seat for the looks, the bike is so small, that you can combine a semi apehanger with a low seat.
bud the bar that is mounted on the bike is just to see the lines, i'm going to weld me a custom bar.

it is the original kl250 tank, but i'm going to stretch it with 5/6 cm.

some progress.

hi guys,

made some progress today.
i welded the exhaust system together, and mounted a rear fender, still experimenting whit the bar.
mounted road tires. rear a bridgestone bt45 front a very cool 21' avon speedster whit a classic profile
tell me what you think.

i think you should keep it with the z-bar or ape-hanger or a verry short stick-bar

lookin good , now that i see it with this handlebar, i think it would look nicer with a semi ape hanger.
