Engine check

Engine has done about 200 miles now so timing cover removed to check all is OK. Oil changed and cam chain adjusted. Timing cover and chest inspected, no problems, nice and clean inside. Engine is lively up to 4000rpm when it just takes off like a rocket! Probably a combination of the speedway high lift cams and the electronic ignition getting to full advance. It does 95mph in third gear at about 7500rpm and I would imagine 50 BHP , maybe more is a realistic output. Must get it onto a dyno soon.
