something I had standing in storage but deserved better...

Post  TinTin on Sun 20 Jul - 20:21

Worked my way throug a project I had for a while in the garage, nothing major but better as it was. Top photo is the way I found it..... Shocked an neglected Moto Guzzi V35 Imola.
proper side picture will follow

alturations since then:
* stainless Decibel exhausts (nice big sound, looks more like an 650 the a 350 )
* K&N airfilter instead of the awfull airbox, it is a shame they are hidden behind the sidepanel
* Tommaselli Gold clipons instead of the strada bar
* Caf seat I found on eBay, took some time to figure out the hinges
* build in LED rear light (normally used on campers but it worked out great)
* shortened rear fender (had a wreck in the garage I could use)
* attached mirrors stolen from another project
* and the ussuall service stuff to get it going...... (valves, oil, carb's, battery etc.)

Hope tomorrow I have a bit of good weather to take it out on a testdrive...

Looking good by the way...is it still a project or are you going to keep it like this ?

oh and some advice...try to keep your licenseplate out of the picture or make it unreadeble..

This summer i had the chanse to ride a V35 like yours for a copple of days and a was suprised about the handling and performance of that "small" 350cc engine !!! A good choise for a cafe racer ! If you ever have the chance to put on Conti exhaust pipes, DO IT. It makes your 350 barking as a 750. You will start your bike just for the sound. Only... the real Conti's are hard ti find
