Introducing me (Gais)
21 years old young, crazy about motorcycles and in general the older ones.
I am fascinated by caferacers, I just love the looks and the idea that a motorcycle doesn't die but gets faster.
Got myself a couple of bikes, all of them japanese and being in a rebuild except for my Yam Triple. The only bike that always works with one push on the starterbutton (if its that easy i'm not going to kick
), if you redline it everybody will keep at least a few cars distants because of the smoke coming out of the exhaust, even the cars themself
When I get my "dichtungsats" she will get a engine rebuild because the oil goes faster then I can drink beer.
Anyway, I'm just some bloke that is trying to rebuild his bikes into some mean machines. Here my current bikes:
Honda CB350 - 528cc engine, wider chrome rims, alloy swingarm, Marzocchi strada springs, custom front-end based on CB550 and CB750 forks, Marzocchi yokes. Still concentrating on getting the right parts together.
Yamaha XS360 - Very small and light bike, nice small seat, no special tricks except maybe the Honda CB wheels with alloy rims and a nice front brake. Just chopped everything of that wasn't necessary.
Got another XS360 but still haven't figured out what it wil become, thinking of some spacy chopper/racer bike.
Yamaha XJ650 - Clip-ons, made the clocks and headlight more compact, racing seat, rear set, front fork stabiliethingie, removed everything that wasn't necessary.
Yamaha XS750 - My lovely triple, pulled it from under a tree and started riding the beast. Looks like shit, almost completely original, start everytime without any hassle and I just love this bike. The engine is a piece of art and if you do your best she corners pretty good, scraping my footpegs and boots regular.

Re: Introducing me (Gais)
Hehe, I was thinking exactly the same. Some pictures would be nice
In general its just a bunch of old stuff but in my head they are already fully build and rideable
First, my CB350f (with a 400 engine) wich I drove around after I got my license. Oh boy, what a lovely bike it was, revved the living daylights out of it but she always fired up to do it again. Even after one hour of wide open throttle, she was pissing oil all over the floor but still worked.
Pretty old picture, when I teared her down she had Koni's, new rear-tire, front-end rebuild, electronic ignition from a XJ650. Did those things after I almost lost her getting of a roundabout. Before that it was, euhm, interesting. Waving around on the highway, slippery rear tire on a straight road in the rain (first time I tought my clutch was slipping) Once she almost threw me off when I took a corner pretty fast on a bad road, what a fun I had on this bike

XS360 in a mockup state.

Very lowbudget XJ650, no work on the engine because there's got to be installed a quicker one.

And offcoarse my really "pretty" XS750, you can see she's also leaking oil
On the right you can see a bit of the exhaust pipes on my XS360 and the bigger disc brake.
