Hey hey, now you speak my language...!

Anyway, you've had a Kawasaki, and a man who has (had) a Kawasaki must be a good man

Yes very nice tasty beer, drinking a Brigand as we speak,

On Topic : Give me the real deal, the old café's like shown above, if i may say so i despise those new 'caferacers' , in fact every motorcycle has to 'earn' the right to be called a cafe racer, those new bikes ; thats a no no im sorry
never the less i respect everyones opinion on that matter cheers

Hi Demon, another guy from Malaysia with his head screwed on properly... Shocked
Just to add to your fund of know-how, cyclops
re: lowering front of bike I can add some ideas Idea
for you to consider carefully... (have spare set of springs to replace cut set )
before you go too far Wink

Front forks can be 'raised' up in the triple grips that now holds them... will cause bike to 'drop'
Spring inside fork, which is setting the ride height can be cut with grinder...
start small and work up, say 1 inch... then 1/2 inch...
Rear spring can have a 'coil' (or two) cut off with grinder allso...
shorter shocks from another bike from wrecker
Re-locate attachment point for rear shocks will change height also
Small wheels, from say 18" to 17" go from car mags to nice cafe spoke...

And so just simple logical stuff, keep looking at bike and understand how is held together and what is going on, then you can just change anything you want... seat, bars, front end, motor, exhaust etc...

Good luck and enjoy, be patient is good, it takes time...
It never seems to end... silent
