Post  GILAFUERA on Sun 18 Jan - 23:50

hey how are you???? yesterday a saw this beautifull bike that needs a lot of love an of course i made a nice deal for her jeje, after a few adjustments and an old battery from my other bike i started the engine, after the second kick it started and i noticed that it throws no smoke and runs great, again she needs a los of love and its going to take a while for me to finish it, cause i want to do all myself, well i just want to show you all the initial conditions of the bike and hopefully in about 5 or 6 weeks she will be finish, i want to say that this will be my first real proyect, i don`t know how to work fiber glass or paint the parts but now i have a good oportunity to learn, so if you have any advices please let me know, or any suggestions they are welcome, well i will show yo some pictures of any upgrades ciaoo

this is me in the middle, my friends jimmy and Dario are in this pictures too

this side its pretty rusty, i thinks i am going to use sand blasting to see the real damage of the frame

she has no lights and no clocks but i have some really good ideas jeje

oh yeah, of course, it's even writen in the title of your topic
It's just that for a second I was hesitating with the Z750 twin engine, but it was not the shape of a 750 engine anyway...
This is what happens when you answer a topic at 6.45 in the morning after a heavy week-end Laughing

It's cool to see a Z in the forum, at last. Yours will be the second Zed here!
I'm really curious to see what you're going to make with her.

I had to rotate my screen 90 degrees so I could see the movie right Wink

I see that you have a small numberplate.
Great! Don't understand why we don't have such things.

Re: 1979 KZ 400

Post  GILAFUERA on Mon 26 Jan - 4:20

hi, i'm not sure about the color yet, i really like the colours i have in my cb 750 so i think i am going to use the same combination except that i want to use a metallic blue and for the silver i want to put some, jeje i dont know how to say that in english, those little dots that shine in the sun jeje, but still i'm not sure yet.
i've always liked the combination of a little chrome and some candy purple with some black details, so i'am making my mind between those combinations

i think i'll have to paint the bike several times, 'cause i have never painted anything, so i seriously doubt i'll make it good at the first attempt

well guys thnks for your comments, see you later
