I´ll try to be there in october.

Did a lot of ridin´last few weeks.
I also cleaned the carbs so it runs better now.
And today I ordered steel brake lines in the UK. So I have to wait a few weeks before they arrive.
Then I will clean my brake gallipers and paint them gold/silver just like the picture below.

Can't find the stickers for the gallipers but I saw some very nice brakedics. Do they fit a XS750 also? They look the same.

A blue plate isn´t allowed for bikes build after 1-1-1978.
The ticket you can get is very high. (over 200 euro´s)
I know the change for getting a ticket is not big.
But I have to keep in mind that my plate is a bit to horizontal and the exhausts making to much noise.

Hi Kornfed - nice now the rearend looks as fine as the front. If you visit a POLO Shop in NL, you can buy flextubes in 2 cm steps, and connect them with the adapter you need yourself. It`s very easy.

Disaster!!! affraid

The paint on my gastank start to dissolve!
The petcock was leaking and now all the paint is coming of.
I fixed the leaking problem but still think gas is leaking out a little bit.
So I can start all over again.
Try to contact the spraypainter for a better solution.

Hi Kornfed - what a bullsh.... . and this is nothing for a smart repair. I wonder, the the gasoline destroyed the paint so much.

After the bad news there's also some good news Very Happy
I bought a nice frontfender on marktplaats. I had to make a a little aluminium part so the fender fits well now.
I painted it but the result is poor so I have to do it again.

Yamaha XS 750

Post  Hank on Tue 26 Jan - 0:24

Hallo Kornfed,
Do you know what kind of paint is used for the gastank? I had it once with a tank with cellulose paint, it's #**!!##t !
I'm firing up my XS 750, when the snow and "pekel "is gone I'm gonna make a test-ride.
What size of jets do you use in your carburators?
Hank.

Yamaha XS 750

Post  Hank on Wed 10 Mar - 22:47

Hallo Kornfed,

Hey Hank,

Yamaha XS750

Post  Hank on Fri 12 Mar - 2:19
