The seat looks great. You made it yourself? Out of metal or is it just polyester?

I painted the whole tank gloss black.. then masked off the areas that I wanted to remain gloss.. then sprayed flat black.... and then matte clear coated the the flat black.... then finally semi glossed the whole thing 3 times.... Now I have the whole thing apart and and F-en sanding and grinding the frame for repaint.....frames gonna be gloss black.. then its airbox removal.. new brake lines and clutch lines on the way.. Clubmans sitting on the shelf waiting....pipe wrap waiting for a bit warmer weather...

Ill keep ya posted..

Nice work, with the gloss/matt approach! With some patience, you can achieve a lot!

Ohh are you talking about the tail cowl???? That was a stand in from my thruxton.. it was just there for placement and to get an idea of the look.. I then bought another wrecked tail cowl and fixed it sanded it, bondoed it and painted it the way I explained before...Ill post another image of the thrux so you can see....

Very very nice.

Does anybody know where I can get those mirrors at the end of the clip-ons?
Not the ones where you have to put it inside the handlebars, but the one that goes around the bar.

The Yami has stock exhaust at the moment. The Triumph Thruxton has TORS.

Thr poject continues.. Just need to get a new Battery and a New Regulator/rectifier.. XS's are notorious for having shite electircal systems...
